When you call we can discuss your quality of life questions, your hopes and wishes, and each step of the process so you know what to expect. I will ask for your contact information, and would like to hear about your pet – their condition, their personality and their likes and dislikes. Please consider the location you will choose and any special blankets, beds or treats that may provide comfort.
When I arrive at your home, I will spend time getting to know your pet and answering any further questions. We have a small amount of paperwork to take care of and can complete payment while your pet relaxes and becomes comfortable. When you are ready, I will give a small injection under the skin to provide pain relief and profound, peaceful sedation. The final injection will then be administered to help your pet pass gently.
If your pet is above 45 pounds, I may ask that someone in the home assist me to carry your pet to my vehicle. If that is not possible, just let me know and I can make other arrangements for help.
